    Deep in the Woods

Eclectic, cosy & family friendly: 3 words that perfectly describe the festival Deep in the Woods. And that name says it all: the festival literally takes place in the middle of a forest.

In 2017 I designed and developed the mail template for that year’s edition of the festival. This was challenging, because first of, the template needed to work in Mailchimp’s visual editor. And secondly, they didn’t have seperate databases per language, so the template needed to work for both French and Dutch. That’s why I worked with a two column design. I also gave them some pointers on email marketing in general.

Deep in the Woods isn’t the only festival I did email marketing for: I also helped Graspop Metal Meeting out with their mailing template.

  • Biebob Concerts

    Biebob Concerts

Biebob Concerts is a concert hall in Vosselaar, Antwerp. For 25 years now it is the place to be for raw guitar sounds and infernal singing. With a capacity of 400 people Biebob isn’t the biggest concert hall out there, but nevertheless it’s a big name in the Belgian metalscene. Biebob is renowned in the Kempen and beyond.

At Biebob Concerts I was responsible for the online communication from 2012 to 2016. This encompased social media, copywriting, graphic design, content management, e-mail development & marketing & public relations.

Did you know that I actually worked for two concert halls? AB Concerts is another venue I had the pleasure to work for.
  • JCDecaux

    JCDecaux

More than 50 years experience, active in over 80 countries, a daily reach of over 410 million people… With these impressive numbers JCDecaux can call itself the #1 worldwide in outdoor advertising.

But every brand, no matter how successful, needs a makeover now and then. So in 2016 BBDO & JCDecaux partnered up to implement a new corporate identity. Their newsletter also got a makeover and I coded these new templates.

Furthermore I also trained the marketing team at JCDecaux so they could send out these newsletters themselves. This was a new and cool experience for me, as I never officially gave training before this.

Simultaneously with this project, I also developed a mail template for sports retailer Decathlon.

    Decathlon

Making sports accessible for everyone: that’s Decathlon’s mission statement. And the company is obviously succeeding, as it’s the world’s biggest sports retailer.

In 2016 BBDO won over Decathlon’s heart and has been handling their advertising campaigns ever since. On the digital side of things we created a mail template for the sporting goods retailer. I was responsible for coding this newsletter. Not an easy task, as it had to work in a visual editor.

    Mailing Decathlon
That same year I also developed a mail template for billboard giant JCDecaux.
