Parabox is a project that confronts people with their fear of making choices. Obviously, it’s a contraction of the words “paradox” and “box”.

It’s sort of a Pandora’s Box which gives you a choice to open it or not. The only difference is that Parabox rewards you when you open it, because you made a decision. This project was made with a flex sensor, Arduino, Kinect & Processing. The images and sound react to the position of the person. Parabox is a fictional project made as part of the exhibition Architecture of Fear at Z33.
