AB Concerts

The Ancienne Belgique is probably the most popular concert hall for contemporary pop and rock music in Belgium, and is definitely one of the leading concert venues in Belgium.

When I saw a vacancy for communications assistant at AB Concerts I didn’t hesitate to react. From August until September 2015 I replaced the Online Project Manager at the venue.

The most important part of the job was e-mailmarketing: composing weekly newsletters, recommendation letters, invitation mails, …

Additionally, I maintained the website: drafting news items and updating the concerts.

I also did some work for their social media channels as a backup when the social media managers weren’t present.

From the leading concert venue to one of the top festivals in Belgium: for Pukkelpop I worked on an interactive game, PProadie, to create buzz and raise awareness.

For my thesis I developed a prototype that helps children through their fear of the dark. The prototype, Pepijn Het Nachtkonijn, targets older children with fear of the dark and also their parents.
