    P&G

Does a brand like P&G even need an introduction? With sales in over 180 countries it’s the global leader in fast-moving consumer goods. The multinational has a broad brand portfolio with sounding names like Always, Oral-B and Gillette.

With their online platforms in Belgium, France and the Netherlands the company wants to inspire young mothers in their daily life. The platforms consist out of recipes, lifestyle articles, coupons and brand reviews.

And those platforms have been an important part of my job at BBDO these past 3 years. First of, I manage the websites in Belgium, France and the Netherlands. I also design mails and create content for the brand, from creating infographics to photographing DIYs. Check out some of my favorite projects I did for the company:

From fast-moving consumer goods brand to heart rhythm app: during my short stint at FibriCheck I also did content management, content creation, mail development and much more.

  • MllsDeMode

    MllsDeMode

On March 21 2011 Ingrid, Anja and I started the beauty, fashion & lifestyle blog Mademoiselles De Mode. Initially, Mlls De Mode was a hobby, but it was also an ideal opportunity to practice our webdesign skills.

We started the blog from scratch and did everything ourselves: graphic design, content creation and coding. It’s also very educational in terms of communication and marketing. The correct tone of voice, effective communication, an eye for usability and promotion via social media are obviously important factors.

In 2014 we celebrated the third anniversary of our blog. We’re also very proud to say that we have been featured in a few magazines, like Flair and Steps City Magazine. Furthermore, we have been ambassadors for beauty brand 2B and had the honour to be festival reporters for Belfius in the summer of 2013. We also blogged for Veritas’ Café Créatif and were chosen as blog of the month by StyleUnited in January 2014. In conclusion, we never expected that MllsDeMode would be so successful as it is at the moment.

Below some of my favorite articles I wrote and photographed:

In July 2018 we wrote our last article for MllsDeMode. This gave me the time to focus on my love for food photography & content creation with my Instagram Anneleen FotografEET.

  • Biebob Concerts

    Biebob Concerts

Biebob Concerts is a concert hall in Vosselaar, Antwerp. For 25 years now it is the place to be for raw guitar sounds and infernal singing. With a capacity of 400 people Biebob isn’t the biggest concert hall out there, but nevertheless it’s a big name in the Belgian metalscene. Biebob is renowned in the Kempen and beyond.

At Biebob Concerts I was responsible for the online communication from 2012 to 2016. This encompased social media, copywriting, graphic design, content management, e-mail development & marketing & public relations.

Did you know that I actually worked for two concert halls? AB Concerts is another venue I had the pleasure to work for.
  • Graspop Metal Meeting

    Graspop Metal Meeting

As one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe Graspop Metal Meeting has been the homebase for metalheads since 1996. And the prove is in the pudding, because the event lures in over 135,000 fans annually.

I’m very proud to have been part of the festival’s communication team for 5 years. It all started in 2012, when I developed a Deezer app for the festival. Streaming services like Spotify & Deezer just had been launched in our country, so there couldn’t have been a more perfect timing for this app.

The app was essentially a playlist of all the bands performing at that year’s edition, but in the corporate identity of the festival. The main goal of the app was obviously branding. No better way to do this than with music, right?

This app actually gave me my start at the festival. That same year I created content for Graspop’s social media. Obviously copywriting, photo editing and graphic design were useful skills that came to play for this.

Secondly I was responsible for the design of the information screens at the festival.

In 2013 some other responibilities were added to my list: I designed and coded the mobile landing page for the wifi access and the blog. I also came up with concepts for blogposts and wrote most of them. Some posts even went viral, so mission accomplished! On top of that, I was resposible for everything concerning the narrow broadcasting system: designing the information screens, programming the sequences and implementing a logical order of the screens.

The year after I also took care of the GMM mobile app and the communication with media partners Deezer & Appmiral.

In 2015 I actually interned at Graspop. During this internship I got the chance to deepen my editorial work. First off, I created a promotional plan for the official GMM compilation album. But I also immersed myself in other areas, for example the productional side of the album.

Organizational-wise I took care of the collaborations with media partners such as Rock Tribune and Skynet. This for example lead to the GMM special of Rock Tribune in May.

During my last year at Graspop I took on the added challenge of developing a new e-mail template for the festival. An extra difficulty for this template was that it had to work in the Mailchimp visual editor.

I’m definitely not a one-trick pony: besides Graspop I worked for numerous festivals. Indoor festival Hert Infarct was probably one of the more memorable ones.
  • AC/DC Dessel

    AC/DC Dessel

Rock ’n roll and AC/DC are practically one and the same. When the rock legends announced their much-anticipated Rock or Bust World Tour at the end of last year, they initially didn’t plan for a visit to our little country.

Luckily, they did add a Belgian date to their tour in January and that brought the band to Festival park Stenehei in Dessel on July 6.

Since the concert was a collaboration between Live Nation and Graspop Metal Meeting, I had to honour to take care of the social media, develop a blog for the event and write articles for it.

With their raw guitar sounds and infernal singing, AC/DC took the world by storm. And Biebob Concerts, where I worked as a digital content creator, did exactly the same.
  • Hert Infarct

    Hert Infarct

Hert Infarct is an indoor festival in Turnhout organised by the youth club De Wollewei. It’s a three-day festival: day 1 is all about stand-up comedy, while day 2 focuses on showcases in local pubs and day 3 is a combination of workshops and concerts.

In October 2013 I was asked to help out at the festival: I was responsible for the social media, the photo editing and posting new content on the website.

Small festivals are kinda my jam: in 2017 I did email marketing for the eclectic festival “Deep in the Woods”.
